The fallout from last week’s revelations about Trump’s summer call with the Ukranian president continued Monday, as the President defended what he said while declining to share the transcript. The Washington Post reported last week that a whistleblower had reported Trump asking the Ukrainian leader to investigate potential political opponent Joe Biden at the same time that funding for that country hung in the balance. However, even as some more Democrats raised the specter of impeachment proceedings in the light of the new information, Speaker Nancy Pelosi continued to hold out Monday.
