Can you please stop using DX11 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, World War Z, dues ex, f1 2019, metro exodus etc etc, no wonder these are performing similar, If you used DX12 and Vulkan that 5700 xt would have trashed the 2060 super into the concrete…..

Best AIB card currently coming out, if not now, the Asus Strix versions of the 5700 XT look interesting, but the cost could be prohibitive. Would love to get a chance to try out this 5700 XT Red Devil, but not sure if it will be available or if it has already sold out.

What's the point of having all those power phases when voltages, clock speeds, and power limits are all controlled by AMD?

On AC Odyssey and Metro Exodus the 1440p fps is well below 60fps and you should use high settings instead of ultra to be on the right performance track with such a card…I have the MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X and run all modern games at 1440p60fps on high settings and I will stick with that…There is no visual difference between ultra and high settings other than reflections and shadows which add a performance hit on the gpu

It's odd how it loses out to the reference model in a lot of the games, I'm sure it's something that'll change over the next few driver updates. The 5700 & 5700XT offer decent performance but the truth is that they're Polaris replacements & shouldn't cost so much.

Am I really the only guy that does not see, and I mean literally see, the difference between Ultra and the one setting below that in most games, besides the usually 10-40fps boost you gain from doing that? I have to wonder since I've even seen DF do multiple videos comparing highest vs semi-highest settings in several games which lead to basically no noticeable difference in-game despite bragging rights.

Great video Joker, you weren't bias this go around. 2070 Super like performance for $50-100 less that's exciting. I'm definitely buying a 2070 super now, but I'm glad AMD has something pretty good.

    Joker: video suggestion:

Could you check just how much FPS difference you could get with like a 85% resolution render with RIS for 1440p and your opinions on the actual image quality difference vs performance difference?
I'm thinking about this card for 1440p 144Hz with freesync for a smooth experience.

Out of the 3 AIB cards reviewed by youtubers out there, the Red Devil is the nicest one so far. I should add that there are none available for sale here in Canada at the moment, just out of stock listings.

Also haven't seen any info on this Gigabyte card yet:

My God, AMD has really upped it's game with their past releases… Still makes me wonder why they don't just allow AIBs to do their thing straight away, as you only get one shot at a first impression and Navi's first impression wasn't nearly as strong as this.

I dont know why reference rx 5700xt is faster than the red devil base on your table? Maybe the added heat makes Navi faster.
