Fragrance aside, is there a con for using this with Acneic skin Dr Dray? Is it comedogenic? I really like your videos! 🙂

The Embryolisse Lait Cream Concentrate is too heavy for me during the day as I live in a very humid tropical country. I like to use it as a final step of my night time skincare routine to seal everything in and prevent moisture loss from sleeping in an air-conditioned room.

Is the oil (shea butter) mean it’s ok for younger / combo skin type ? Will it clog pores

What kind of sunscreen to you suggest for someone with combination skin that is also sensitive? I really like la roche posay but there's so many different ones btw i live in America in Texas.

I tried this out like 6 months ago. I was so excited. The pamphlet that comes in the box raves about how tolerable it is for ALL skin types. People talked about how it can be used as a moisturizer and primer. It completely broke me out. Also, the fragrance irritated my allergies. I ended up using it on my body just to get rid of it.

This product is simply overhyped. I swear! just a week ago I purchased it and tried it only for 3 or 4 times, every application left me with bizarre skin texture. The cream is suggested to all skin type and my skin type is a dry / combination, this shitty cream made my skin feel and look like a desert. It may work for oily skin but not for dry for sure. I feel like to sue the company for fooling people.

I have been using this product for several years and love it.Never had a break out.Use it as a moisturizer and primer before my make up application.Very popular in French Pharmacies and used by make up artists.I do not smell a fragrance with this product. The product is no longer available at Target and was shelved under "Cult favorites" but available at Costco on line
I challenge you to try the product.

I love this stuff, the smell is so strong tho. I only use it as a base for makeup, which I don’t wear often. Must have for people who have dry skin and would like to wear makeup from time to time.

The cerave lotion burns my face 😭
Does anyone have any tips on any other moisturizers for super duper sensitive skin? It feels like all my face does well with is plain jojoba oil 😬

Hey Dr dray – a few years ago I bought this because a makeup artist who I used to follow would rave about it – however it did absolutely nothing in terms of hydrating or moisturising my skin. Just my experience / review.
BTW I recently purchased the cereve moisture cream which you talk about – ammmmmazing !

I don't know why I keep looking at other moisturizers when my CeraVe and LaRoche Posay have worked perfectly. I think the whole "luxury" appeal is what draws most of us in to the fragranced moisturizers. But, I do suffer from fragrance sensitivity after years of using all those $300 plus fragranced moisturizers. So, I better sit myself down and stay satisfied with what is working! Thanks Dr. Dray for your reviews – it's great to see a review from someone who is knowledgeable and yet doesn't have a dog in the fight.

See, I don't mind the scent. I live in Germany and I picked it up during a quick trip to France, could the scent be different over here? Hmm. To me it's a light non-offensive, baby-powder scent that disappears quickly. I love the way this cream makes my skin glow, and so far it works lovely as a primer!

The way you share your intelligence and education with us freely and consistently is a gift I am so grateful for. You truly are making a difference in the lives of your viewers. At 55, I have learned so much from you, and realized I was making choices that sabotaged my own skin goals. Now that I take your advise, I have learned my skin is NOT problem skin at all… the problem was my own ignorance. Thank you Dr. Dray, from the bottom of my pores to the top of my epidermis!🥰

I wish companies would stop using fragrance in their skin care. It's unnecessary and has such potential for irritation! Quite some time ago, I had an awful reaction to a fragrance ingredient in laundry detergent that was so awful my entire body broke out in a red, hot rash; I had to take a shower to get the residue off my body and rewash my clothes a few times.

fragrance is really not good for skin, i’m glad you always address that! i used to use skincare with scents and exfoliate with a scrub every few days and back then i was so sure that my skin type was sensitive. everything stung or burned, my face would get super red for a few minutes every time i apples any product and i would get random dry patches even though i’m an oily skin hormonal acne person lol. i stopped using the scrub first (switched to aha and bha products from the ordinary) and while it became a little better, i still got a LOT of irritation and redness from my moisturisers and even face wash. then i got the ordinary MF moisturiser and i stopped having that issue! now i use cerave lotion for dry skin (bc i find it helps my skin in terms of oil production and i use drying (bp) topical acne medication) and i don’t remember the last time my skin was really irritated aside from the initial bp dryness and one time when it got around my eyes. some people have no problem with it but for someone like me, when my skin was compromised bc of the scrub and fragrance it just created a really bad irritation

Hello Dr.Dray, when I was in my teen age years I used products with lots of fragrance and I was fine. Now that I am wiser, I can't tolerate it. If the scent is to strong I get a head ache.

Hi! Good products with great ingredients but unfortunately with fragrance. Maybe one day Aveeno will offer us a similar product but without fragrance. I always avoid passing by perfumes. It seems like the scent is going into my mouth. Very weird but it's really unpleasant. However, I didn't know that soybeans had all these good properties. I am very interested in the fact that it is a brightening effect. I think more and more people are asking for fragrance free products. I hope we will have more choices in the near future.
