    5, not 10.
You obviously know that there are 20 ticks per second, but those are game ticks. You're talking about redstone ticks, which take two game ticks, so there are 10 per second. An on-off cycle takes a minimum of two redstone ticks, so it's 5 arrows per second, not 10.

    edit: 5:17
And this clock… is exactly as fast as the one I was referencing before. You know that the redstone itself also needs one tick to turn on and one tick to turn off, right? If this clock is potentially game-breaking, it's not because it's too fast, it's because of how the comparator works. You'd need to give specific examples of the circumstances under which it won't work. 😛

1:44 was all i needed for dropper dropping 1 piece of item into cobweb timer, which then will be picked up by hopper minecart and transported into other dropper dropping that piece of redstone again in the water item elevator providing infinite activations of 45 second timer for my drowned farm.

3:25 maybe you could use an observer to quickly power that clock

the second one is easy to pause with a sticky piston and stone block just above where the redstone goes up behind the dispenser, no redstone will be destroyed and you can disconnect the vertical part

Here's another redstone clock: If a redstone observer is observing another one, then it will cause the redstone to repeat really fast!
